Damian Fraser founded Miranda Partners in 2018 after serving as the Managing Director of UBS in Mexico from 2011 to 2018. Before that, he was the Head of Equities and Research for Latin America at UBS since 1998. At the beginning of his career, Damian was a journalist at The Economist (economic correspondent) and the Financial Times (head of the Mexico bureau). He holds a CFA and a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Philosophy from Oxford University. He has written several articles and essays on FinTechs, SOFIPOs, regulated banks, and their opportunities and challenges in Mexico.

Martín Lara has 29 years’ experience as a Director of Equity Research at various financial institutions such as Interacciones Casa de Bolsa, Signum Research / Punto Casa de Bolsa, Actinver, Valores Finamex Casa de Bolsa, and AB Moneda. He has been ranked by the “Institutional Investor” and “El Inversionista” magazines for several years. Martín has also covered the telecommunications, media, food, beverages, FIBRAs, conglomerates, industrial, retail, construction, housing and hotel sectors. He is a “Company Valuation / M&A” teacher at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, CSF. Previously he was a “Financial Markets” and “Equity Markets” professor at Universidad Iberoamericana. He holds an MBA from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, CEM.
